NEWS: Groupon using rental LMS to deliver company policies and Office 2013
We are delighted to announce Groupon as the latest addition to the Premier IT rental LMS.
Groupon is moving its existing online learning materials over to a new LMS. Throughout the early part of this transition, Groupon wanted to track learning progress and completion of the organisation’s policy documentation, which was in video presentation format.
Our e-Learning team has rebuilt all of Groupon’s existing policy materials using Articulate Storyline. The new presentations are fully accessible to staff via the Premier IT LMS.
In addition to repurposing the learning materials, our team has worked closely with Groupon to produce a bank of assessment questions for the Legal Compliance policy. Each learner will be required to complete random selections of these questions as part of the assessment functionality, which can be tracked and reported by management staff at Groupon.
Groupon is also upgrading its Microsoft Office licences to the latest 2013 edition. Premier IT provided off-the-shelf Office and Excel 2013 e-Learning materials, combined with customised assessments, to facilitate the new software rollout.
Premier IT will now be providing instructor led training for Microsoft Office 2013 as part of a blended learning solution for Groupon. The customised classroom training will include scenarios specific to staff at Groupon.
Jessica Weiss, Learning and Development Specialist at Groupon, said, “We chose Premier IT because they were able to provide the most flexible solution, in terms of working with our existing systems and future-proofing our learning materials.
“The guys at Premier IT have been really helpful and supportive in terms of our needs. Aaron, in particular, was always available to answer any questions we had. Having a direct contact made everything so easy.”
Early reports of the Microsoft Office 2013 e-Learning are showing very high completion rates of learning materials by staff. The e-Learning courses will be rolled out to more staff over the coming months.Back
